This hostel was another favorite of ours. The dorms are huge (although filled with lots of bunks and beds), slight downer is that there are usually 2 showers and 1 toilet to share between 10-16 people in a dorm! There is a separate w/c near the kitchen that you can use. The location is both good, a little out of the actual centre but it's close to a lot of the other sights and normal day to day hustle and bustle, which was great for us. Amazing value for money!

Great hostel! Wonderful location. Older, more quiet area of Prague, and only a 15-20 minute beautiful walk to Old Town Square. Right around the corner from Prague Castle. Be prepared to walk up a hefty hill from the tram stop though. Staff was very nice but not very informative about things to do. Room was great and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in in a hostel. Red Lion Pub across the street also has the best goulash. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful from the very first. I stayed in a female 12 bed dorm and it was perfect. The bed was crazy comfortable, great view, clean bathrooms, huge locked (per deposit) drawer to keep your stuff safe while out exploring the city. Lounge area was great, snacks/water available for purchase. GREAT location (you can handle the hill!) and easy to get to/from public transportation. I would totally stay here again!

If you have wheeled luggage you're not going to like the uphill walk as it's not a short walk. It's quite steep and like a lot of Prague, it's cobblestones. It is located very near to a lot of tourist attractions, so departure time on the streets is hectic. Narrow footpaths and busy streets are fun to navigate. There is convenience stores, restaurants and souvenir stores in close proximity.
It's very secure and entrance is just off the main path in an archway to a restaurant. Admittedly, if you're not paying attention you will walk past it.
I like that there's reception available quite late and they're pretty helpful. Towels and bedding is provided as part of the costs.
The dorm was quite large with two bedrooms with 3 (pretty comfy) beds each and a pretty large 3 seat table. Lockers were available in room which can hold large hiking bags.
My bed was located in the "front" room which had windows to the walkway to other rooms. It was quiet for a while, although it seemed to be a great congregation point just outside our window which was near the doorway to the main stairs at a late hour. If you have a chance take the back room and you don't want to be disturbed late, do so. There was a separate shower and toilet in our room which was fantastic. The water pressure was quite good. I'm not sure how warm this place would be in winter as it is an older building, the floor is stones and room faces an outdoor walkway.

This hostel is amazing. The rooms are clean and with loads of space and a lock for your personal stuff. The bunk beds are big with plenty of room. It is 2 minutes from the castle but at least a 20 minute walk to the old town. But easy to do or a tram is 10 minutes. Staff are really friendly and the wifi is pretty good. Would definitely recommend this hostel

This hostel was in an OK location apart from the fact that it was up a very steep hill and with back packs in the very hot weather made it extremely hard to find! Also they should have an age limit in rooms as there was an old man in our room who was very creepy towards us (three young girls) this hostel lacked an atmosphere and was very hard to meet people. There was no where for everyone to hang out apart from your room. It's good value for money but I wouldn't stay here again.

Liked: On a beautiful street which is quite away from the hubbub of the centre - this meant quiet peaceful nights. Yet also close enough to the main sights of Prague (especially the Castle complex which is literally right behind you :D). Great staff !nd breakfast (totally worth the price -your packed lunch is sorted for each day ). Lovely interiors too. I heartily recommend, and I will be returning for sure.

Disliked: The wi-fi didn't reach everywhere, but for me this was a minor issue.

This hostel was amazing.
A little but too crowded but all Prague is like that.
The building itself seems a museum, there is also a fancy restaurant with a lovely terrace on the second floor where you can have a great view above the city.
The location is very nice: not in old Prague but just below the Castle, few mins walking from Charles Bridge and quite relaxing even during the day ... tourists come to see the Castle but the real crowd is not here.
Rooms are enormous and beds are comfortable, sleeping quality was brilliant due also to the quite surroundings (almost no cars pass by). Common area are also clean and you can be served a cheap buffet breakfast to start the day with no rush.
Free wifi, free kitchenette and a lot of plugs.
Friendly staff.
Perfect value for money really.
One of the best hostels I've stayed in so far ... definitely recommend!

Arpacay is located on Nerudova and is just a stone's throw from Prague Castle (which you can see from some of the rooms). The receptionists were all very friendly, and the breakfast (for 3€) was great. I stayed in the 8 bed dormitory, which was very tidy, spacious, airy and tastefully done. The water was hot in the mornings, and hair dryers and towels were provided free of cost. Wifi was great as well.

However, the hostel does lack a social spirit (don't know if that was because of the time I went in), and the room I stayed in had extremely creaky floorboards (to the point of waking people up). But those are just nitpicks, all in all it was a good experience.

Liked: It is located on a up-hill to the Prague Castle, so you might think the location is horrible. But as soon as you climb(or just walk) up to the Castle, you will like the location of the hostel :)

Disliked: There was a school group visiting on upper floor, so noise from upper floor was quite disturbing. They serve breakfast from 7-11am, so the kitchen is not allowed to use from 6am-12pm. I could use the cutlery, still it was not so nice in the sense of feeling like sneaking into an un-invited place. Besides that, everything was perfect!
