Arpacay Backpackers Hostel in Prague is actually located inside a 16th century building in the city although you should not then think that it is going to be old and dated inside as that is certainly not the case. This hostel is located in the Lesser Quarter of the city and that means so many amazing sights are within easy reach and yet this is not the most impressive thing that is connected to this hostel.

It has over 100 rooms available so it is a large hostel and there are also different combinations available within those rooms that means you are going to find something suitable for your needs whatever they may be. The vast majority of the rooms are dorms of various sizes up to 10 beds and there are some that are exclusively for female use only which is just an added bonus for some travellers. There are shared bathrooms but the rooms are to a very high standard with comfortable beds, nice linen, a lot of light flooding in and enough space that you are not just on top of one another.

As you would expect with a hostel this size, there are a number of different facilities available. First, there is a terrace to relax on in the nice weather and free Wi-Fi to all guests which is standard. You will also find that there is a 24 hour reception desk available along with a tour desk which is a great place to check out what is happening in and around the city during your stay. There is also a library available along with vending machines and a shared kitchen with more than enough space for you to be able to chill and spend time chatting to the other guests that are staying there.

Overall, the Arpacay Backpackers Hostel has been a real success story with it moving into larger premises a number of times since it was first opened in 2000. The staff are very friendly and also extremely helpful and informative which is always going to be a real bonus and the calibre of the guests that are staying here also remains relatively high.

The location is stunning with it beneath Prague Castle so getting around the city is going to pose no problems whatsoever and when you have a comfortable bed to come back to later on then it stands to reason that you are going to enjoy the time that you have spent staying at this particular hostel.
